SEMA Junior High Honor Band

Congratulations to Kaylee Casson, Bailie Dill, Deanna Hileman, Ashley Stephens, Ashley Surratt, Sarah Verdell, Alex Wilkinson, and Courtney Williams for being selected to participate in the SEMA Junior High Honor Band that took place last Thursday night. These students rehearsed all day with students from Auburn, Williamsville, Rochester, Glenwood, Pawnee, Pleasant Plains, Tri-City and Riverton and put on a fantastic concert at the end of the night. Congratulations!

Marching Band Takes 3rd Place at IC Parade Competition

A huge congratulations goes out the NBHS Marching Band for taking 3rd place at the Illinois College Parade Competition! The students competed against other area bands in the categories of musicality, marching, and showmanship over the course of a mile and a half parade. This is the band's first parade competition in many years, making a third place finish an even greater accomplishment!
