Illinois College Visits New Berlin

On Friday we were very fortunate to have the Illinois College Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band come to our very own Pretzel Dome and give the junior high and high school band students a fantastic performance. Students were able to ask questions to the college students in the groups as well as the director and discovered the wonderful opportunities that being involved in music in college can provide!

Tri-County Honor Band

Congratulations to Sydney Wyatt, Jacob Turner, Laura Simpson, Emily Rhodes, Taylor Bergschneider, Trista Ishmael, and Jade Pflug for participating in the Tri-County Honor Band that was held at North Mac High School last Thursday. These students had the wonderful opportunity to work with the famous composer Robert Sheldon all day and then put on a wonderful concert that night!

IHSA Solo and Ensemble Contest

Congratulations to Jade Pflug, Laura Simpson, Taylor Bergschneider, Sarah Suits, Emily Rhodes and Jacob Turner for earning Division 1 ratings at the IHSA Solo and Ensemble Contest at PORTA High School this weekend!
